Candy AI or Nastia: the useful short answer

Start with Candy AI if you want to evaluate a visually focused companion app and prefer a clearly published annual subscription amount. Start with Nastia's free access if you want to explore its conversational style before choosing between monthly paid options. Neither recommendation makes every image or voice feature free to use.

The decision is less about which app has more features on a marketing page and more about what you will do after the first few chats. Do you want one character for an ongoing conversation, frequent pictures, voice interaction, or a quick casual session? Those habits determine which limits and costs matter.

This is a comparison of documented access and buying choices, not a claim that we spent months testing both apps. Where the operators' public information does not establish a detail, we leave it open rather than inventing a winner.

Compare the differences that affect daily use

These differences help narrow your first test. They do not establish that one app has better memory, more natural voices or superior images. Those claims require a comparable hands-on evaluation, not a copied feature list or a vendor-written competitor review.

For chatting, choose the conversation you want to return to

Try a small, familiar scenario before building an elaborate character. Ask each app to continue an everyday conversation in the tone you enjoy: relaxed and playful, thoughtful and direct, or focused on a fictional story. Give it enough context to respond meaningfully, then leave room for an unexpected reply.

One useful example is planning a fictional rainy-day outing. Establish that the character likes old cinemas, dislikes crowds and has only an afternoon free. Continue for a few exchanges and see whether it uses those details naturally. This suggested exercise helps you compare your reactions; it does not score either product in advance.

If you enjoy the style but run into a limit, a paid plan may help you continue. If you dislike the style, buying more access is a less convincing solution. Do not confuse a longer conversation allowance with proof that the conversation itself will suit you.

For custom characters, look beyond the first portrait

Candy AI's paid offering includes custom companion creation, and Nastia also promotes personalized companions. The important distinction is how much of your intended character you can establish and how consistently the conversation follows it.

Start with a compact description: a role, a recognizable way of speaking and a reason for interacting with you. For instance, a cheerful museum guide who enjoys obscure local stories gives you more to work with than a long string of complimentary personality traits.

Check whether the app lets you revise the parts that matter after setup, and read any cost before creating more characters. If the free sample only lets you create one, use it to test your main idea rather than making a throwaway character solely to reach the chat screen.

For images and voice, the subscription is only the first number

Candy's Premium offering includes 100 tokens per month; its help center explains that media and other features may need extra tokens. Ordinary paid chat remains available after that balance is used. This makes a mostly-text subscriber different from someone who wants pictures throughout every conversation.

Nastia advertises image, video and voice features, but its fulfillment policy also lists token packages. We therefore do not repeat the claim that its subscription always removes every additional media cost. Check the selected action and your plan's allowance.

Compare a small, realistic basket: the chats you want, a handful of images and any voice interaction you expect to repeat. Record what is included and what would require another payment. We have not verified a fixed cost per image or minute across both products, so a supposedly exact media-cost ranking would overstate the evidence.

Which has the lower first payment?

Candy's public subscription page shows an introductory monthly payment of $9.99, followed by $13.99 per month. Nastia's public page lists $11.99 and $15.99 monthly options. Before tax or extras, Candy's introduction is therefore $2 below the lower Nastia amount and $6 below the higher one, if those offers appear for your account.

After the introductory month, the comparison changes. Candy's $13.99 renewal is $2 above the lower Nastia listed monthly amount and $2 below the higher one. That is a base-price comparison, not a claim of equal features or confirmed individual renewal terms.

For a short test, pay attention to the first charge and the feature you want to evaluate. For a continuing subscription, look at later payments as well. A good first-month offer does not settle the longer-term choice.

Which is cheaper over three months?

Using the published Candy monthly sequence, three payments total $37.97: $9.99 plus two payments of $13.99. Its quarterly option is $26.97 upfront. That is an $11 difference for someone who already wants three months, without needing a separate manual code.

Three payments at Nastia's listed $11.99 would total $35.97; three at $15.99 would total $47.97. Those illustrations assume the selected monthly amount stays unchanged. Confirm your actual plan and renewal before relying on them.

If you might stop after a month, the smaller first payment can be more useful than the lowest three-month equivalent. If you already know you want the app for several months, comparing the full period becomes more meaningful. Keep optional media spending on a separate line in either case.

When Candy AI annual billing makes sense

Candy's displayed annual charge is $47.88, equivalent to $3.99 per month. Four consecutive monthly payments using its introduction and current renewal amount would total $51.96. That gives a known regular user a practical point of comparison.

It does not mean a new visitor should immediately buy a year. The annual payment is still larger than the $9.99 introduction, and the whole commitment is made upfront. Use the free sample or a short paid period to answer the product questions first.

We have not confirmed Nastia's current annual charge. It would be misleading to fill that gap with an old third-party price and call the annual comparison complete. The Nastia offer page marks that limitation, while our Candy AI deal page separates the available billing periods.

Our recommendation by type of user

Mostly text chat: try both free paths and choose the conversational style you prefer. A few dollars of subscription difference will not rescue an experience you do not enjoy.

Frequent pictures or voice: compare the actual media balance and costs before buying a longer term. A plan name and a feature checkmark are not enough to establish your usage budget.

Regular Candy user: compare quarterly and annual totals with the monthly payments you would otherwise make. New Nastia user: first establish whether free access is enough, then identify the specific paid benefit you need. The Nastia free-versus-paid guide walks through that decision.

If you only want to know what Candy lets you try without a subscription, read Is Candy AI free? before choosing a paid plan. That is a better first step than buying whichever discount badge looks largest.
